Sur ce deuxième projet inspiré par ma collègue Ellie Knol, j'ai voulu pousser l'effet pastel encore plus. Sur une base de papier mixed media étampé d'écriture, enduit de pâte de structure appliquée avec les pochoirs et recouvert de Gesso, j'ai travaillé les Nuances sur toute la surface. Ensuite j'ai étampé les coquelicots avec du Versamark et embossé à la poudre blanche. L'intérieur des fleurs a été enduites de Gesso et mis en couleur avec des crayons Prismacolor. Sur la surface des motifs créés avec les pochoirs, j'ai effleuré du pigment blanc pour ensuite saupoudrer de poudre à embosser blanche. Pour créer les ombres, j'ai utilisé les crayons Neocolor avec un pinceau et un peu d'eau pour ajouter de la dimension à mon projet.
On this second project inspired by my colleague Ellie Knol, I wanted to push the pastel effect even further. I used a base of mixed media paper, and covered it with Gesso. I then stamped with the text stamp, and covered it in modeling paste with the stencils. I worked with the Nuance colours on all the surfaces. I then stamped the poppies with Versamark ink and embossed them with white embossing powder. The inside of the flowers is coated with Gesso and coloured with Prismacolor crayons. On the surface of the patterns created with the stencils, I slightly brushed white pigment and sprinkled white embossing powder. To create some shading and add dimension to my project, I used Neocolor crayons with a paintbrush and a bit of water.
