Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi Everyone, it's Christine here playing with some Posca Acrylic Paint Pens and these fun stamps.
My Background was made with the same technique I used last week with Perfect Pearls, and a stencil on a gelli plate. You can check it out here.
I then stamped my spring warbler in my stamp positioner and coloured the image using Posca Acrylic Paint pens. I  then re-stamped the image as the Acrylic paint is opaque and hides the line definition, I did the same with the Acacia branch. The acrylic paint really pops against the sparkly Perfect Pearls background.

  3. This is a brilliant background using the Perfect Pearls on the gelli plate Christine and has made such a beautiful shimmery look and the pretty bird on the branch and leaves framing it look great over the top. I only have a couple of metallic pearl powders but am wondering if pearl brusho powders would work as I have a couple in green and blue..you've got me thinking now. x

  5. Beautiful sheen to your background, Christine. The warbler and branches are so bright and bold coloured with posca pens. Great work!

  8. Fantastic card and a great idea to stamp, paint, and the restamp using the stamp positioner to ensure nice black outlines.

  9. Another lovely background Chrisstine and I adore that cute bird. I never thought to use Posca paint pens to actually colour images! Thank you for the close up - I like the painterly textured effect. Vicky x
