Hi Everyone, it's Christine here playing with some stencils, a gelli plate and some Perfect pearls.
I recently saw a great video on using Perfect Pearls with the Gel press.
I placed the floral garland stencil on my gelli plate (6X6) and used different coloured perfect pearls and a brush to paint on the powders. When I completely covered the stencil openings I removed the stencil and used the pearlecent white perfect pearls to fill in the rest. I used pale blue acrylic ink to pull the print on black car stock.
I love the distressed look of the back coming through in parts where it didn't pick up the paint. I finished the image with a little stamping and stenciling using Distress oxide inks and trimmed down the card to remount it on black card then on a cream base. The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Clair Nocturn and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder
