Inspirational Friday with Mariëtte / L'inspiration du vendredi avec Mariëtte

I have been working again in my flower art journal and this time with the letter V for Violet. In Dutch it's called Viooltje

I started to color my watercolor paper with a combination of distress ink and distress oxide by picking up the ink from the craft sheet. Build up layers of ink by drying the layers in between untill I was happy with the colors.

The violet is stamped directly onto the background and by masking off the first image I stamped the violet again on both sides.

The violets are uncolored with bleach and when dry I added some color again.
Added some stamping in the background in matching colors and added some highlights with a white gelpen.
