Inspirational Friday with Mariëtte / L'inspiration du vendredi avec Mariëtte

I created this birthday card for Dianne and ofcourse I had to use one of her stamp designs for Magenta; the zen dragonfly

I started to color my watercolor paper with a combination of distress ink and distress oxide by picking up the ink from the craft sheet. Build up layers of ink by drying the layers in between untill I was happy with the colors.

Stamped the dragonflies with black ink and masked them off so that I was able to stamp the circle behind them. Adding some stamping into the background in the same colors as the background will give it more interest. 

The dragonflies are uncolored with bleach.
