Today, I am sharing a scrapbook page and introducing you to our little cat Miko who is a little on the wild side. He has discovered the benefits of cuddling and it results in some extremely tender moments. The photo is a cuddly moment between us, one morning, before we went back to sleep.
Sur un papier aquarelle, j'ai tamponné 2 fois l'étampe fleur de Pommier, comme pour créer un cadre autour de ma photo. Puis une autre fois en bas, à droite de ma page. Je l'ai reproduit 3 fois sur un papier d'imprimante pour créer un cache. J'ai découpé les impressions et collé sur mes fleurs. J'ai tamponné en gris le tampon écriture puis mouillé mon papier et avec l'aide d'un pinceau, j'ai mis de l'encre distress oxide aléatoirement et plus ou moins diluer pour jouer sur les nuances. J'ai mis de l'encre avec mon encreur sur le cache filet, j'y ai vaporisé un peu d'eau. Puis je l'ai pressé sur mon fond pour donner une texture à celui-ci. J'ai coloré les fleurs et feuilles du tampon toujours à l'encre distress oxide. Puis mis quelques étoiles en noir grâce au tampon étoile. J'ai ajouté les mots provenant d'un masking tape, coller ma photo, mater en noir sur une mousse 3D. Puis ajouté le titre "Xoxo".
On watercolour paper, as if to create a frame around my photo, I stamped the Apple Blossom stamp twice. Then, I stamped a portion of the image at the bottom right side of the page. Next, I stamped the image three times on printer paper, cut them out, and stuck them over the previously stamped flowers on the page to use them as masks. After stamping the script stamp using grey ink over and around the masked apple blossoms areas, I wet my page. Then, with the help of a brush, I added distress oxide ink playing with the shades. Next, I inked up the Mesh stamp with the Oxide ink, sprayed it with water and then stamped it on the page to give a texture to it. After removing the flower masks, I coloured them in with Distress Oxide inks. Next, using the stars stamp, I added some stars. Lastly to finish the page, I added the washi tape words, adhered my photo matted on black 3D foam, and added the "XOXO" title.

Un hommage tout en douceur à un petit sauvageon de fourrure. Charmant.
J'ai dû dessiner ce petit chemin d'étoiles il y a 25 ans... ça me donne envie de le réutiliser!
