Hi everyone, another bubble background this time the card was placed over the cup of bubbles to create the circular imprint with bubbles in the  middle of the prints.

I stamped the silhouette bird on the wire and extended the wires to the edge of the card. I then stamped the thistles as second generation ink to give a much softer image and outlined the card using a metallic pen to give a faux mat.

Hi everyone, I have a really Quick CAS card for you today. I used a gelli plate print background from my stash and used a silhouette stamp as the focus of the card. The background was stamped with a script stamp in Distress Oxide inks.

I used some iridescent sparkle alcohol ink as well as the regular alcohol inks on the gelli plate, it's hard to see but the print has a really pretty shimmer in one of the corners.

Hi Everyone it's Christine here with one background to make three cards. 

I used Alcohol inks on my Gelli plate (using Birgit Koopsens instructions on Instagram) and placed scrunched up saran wrap (cling film) over it. When it was dry I brayered white acrylic paint and lifted the print on an 8.5"X11" sheet of card. I then made a few cards using silhouette images, this is a really quick way of making a few cards to add to your stash or even give away as a gift.

Be warned the Alcohol ink will stain your gelli plate, I used 70% Isopropyl alcohol to remove some of the excess ink on the plate.

Les Trésors du mercredi avec carole / wednesday's Treasure with Carole

Sur un carton blanc 110lbs, j'ai placé une cache pour créer mon soleil. Avec les encres Distress et des applicateurs en mousse, les couleurs ont été supperposées et fondues. Après avoir retiré la cache, j'ai étampé mon motif pour ensuite travaillé les ombres et lumières avec les marqueurs Tombow et un crayon permanent blanc .

L'ensemble du matériel que j'ai utilisé pour cette création.

This time I used an inky background with a little retro stenciling.I found the background in my stash, used the stencil to add a little more colour. I stamped the silhouette wild flowers and finally stamped the script in gold over the whole image.

Hi Everyone, it's Christine here with a little Emboss Resist.

I sprayed the background with some Distress Oxide sprays, then stamped the silhouette image with Versamark and used clear embossing powder. I then added a different colour of Distress Oxide spray on top of the heat embossing. The clear embossing acts as a resit to the second layer of sprays.

Finally to make stamping over the image easier and to have a flat image I used a hot iron and a layer of copy paper to remove the clear embossing.
Emboss resist is a really old technique which is easy and fun to do, why not give it a go😏


Salut tout le monde, c'est Christine ici avec une technique de résiste avec embossage.
J'ai pulvérisé l'arrière-plan avec des encres Distress Oxide en vaporisateurs, puis j'ai étampé l'image de la silhouette avec du Versamark et utilisé une poudre à embosser transparente. J'ai ensuite ajouté une couleur différente d'encres Distress Oxide en vaporisateurs au-dessus de l'embossage à chaud. La poudre à embosser transparente agit comme une résite sur la deuxième couche vaporisée.
Enfin, pour faciliter l'étampage de l'image et pour obtenir une image plate, j'ai utilisé un fer à repasser chaud et une couche de papier pour supprimer l'embossage. C'est une technique très ancienne qui est facile et amusante à faire, pourquoi ne pas l'essayer?

Hello Everyone,

Shilpa here,

Bonjour, c'est Shilpa aujourd'hui,

I've created this tag using Magenta's beautiful new silhouette stamp "Meeting in the Cattails" - 2 birds,  and watercolors.  


To start with I used Magenta stencil "Triangles" and watercolor pencils. After that I applied blue and green color wash on the whole surface. I dried it using Heat Tool. I added texture with magenta background texture stamp and green archival ink.
Further I stamped focal image using Misti stamping tool and black archival ink for crisp image. 
After adding "Dream" die cut my tag is finished.

Magnifique nouvelle étampe de silhouette de Magenta Oiseaux et quenouilles et aquarelle.

Pour commencer, j'ai utilisé un pochoir Magenta "Triangles" et des crayons aquarelle. Après cela, j'ai appliqué un lavis bleu et vert sur toute la surface. Je l'ai séché au fusil à embosser. J'ai ajouté la texture avec l'étampe de texture de fond Magenta et l'encre Archival verte.

Puis j'ai étampé mon image focale avec de l'encre Archival noire.

Après avoir ajouté "Dream" j'ai découpé mon tag.

Silhouette sur encres à l'alcool - Alcohol ink silhouette

Sur du papier photo légèrement lustré, je me suis amusée avec les encres à l'alcool. Une fois la surface bien sèche j'ai étampé et embossé les silhouettes de marguerites. À l'aide des pastels Neocolor j'ai créé des ombres sur la surface embossée des fleurs et accentués les effets de lumière avec un crayon Sharpie blanc.

I had fun with alcohol inks on lightly glossy photo paper. Once the surface was dry, I stamped and embossed daisy silhouettes. Using Neocolor pastels I created shadows on the embossed surface of the flowers and accented the effects of light with a white Sharpie pen.

A silhouette of a girl and soap bubbles... - Silhouette et bulles de savon

I started the background with a piece of a green gellliprint on music bookpaper.

Masking off the silhouette of the girl, I added a layer of gesso as shown. 

The bubbles were stamped on the leftover part of the gelliprint, and cut out. 

J'ai commencé mon projet avec une feuille verte sur une feuille de musique travaillée sur une "gelli plate".
J'ai masqué la silhouette et j'ai ajouté une couche de gesso.
Les bulles ont été étampées sur le restant de la feuille et découpées.

All the red coloring is from Nuance. 

I've heat embossed the script in white. The circles were added with structure paste.  

Tout ce que vous voyez en rouge est fait à la poudre Nuance.

J'ai embossé le texte en blanc.  Les cercles ont été ajoutés avec de la pâte de structure.

Nuance Technique - Une technique avec Nuance

This card was made with a fun technique using Nuance, that works best with stamps that have solid areas.

Cette carte est fait avec une technique amusante qui utilise les poudres Nuance et qui se travaille avec des étampes qui sont pleines.

The stamp I chose was the beautiful Clover Silhouette designed by the talented Ellie Knoll. I also chose to use some of the newest colors of Nuance, but really any colors of Nuance would also look great.

L'étampe que j'ai choisi a été créée par la talentueuse Ellie Knoll.  J'ai aussi utilisé quelques une des nouvelles couleurs de Nuance mais en vérité toutes les couleurs peuvent faire.


I used the MC27 Round Shape Mask for this technique. You get two pieces with this template: the outside of the circle, which covers your card and leaves the circle open to work in; and the circle itself.

J'ai utilisé le cache MC27, forme ronde.  Il y a deux morceaux compris dans le paquet:  l'extérieur du cercle qui couvre la carte et qui permet de travailler à l'intérieur du cercle et le cercle lui-même.

I taped down my card panel and taped down the outer piece over it, leaving the circle open to stamp in. I put Nuance powder onto my craft mat in little piles. I inked the stamp with Versamark ink (clear, sticky ink) to help the colors stick. Then, using a damp brush, I picked up Nuance powder from my mat and painted it onto the solid areas of the stamp.

Avec un ruban gommé j'ai collé mon papier et l'extérieur du cercle pour que rien ne bouge laissant l'intérieur du cercle prêt pour être travaillé.  J'ai saupoudré un peu de Nuance en petit tas sur mon tapis de travail.  J'ai encré l'étampe avec du Versamark (encre claire et collante) pour aider les couleurs à coller.  Puis avec un pinceau mouillé, j'ai appliqué la couleur sur l'étampe.

I spritzed the stamp to activate the color, and stamped it onto a piece of watercolor cardstock. I stamped off onto a second piece of cardstock, and then repeated the process to have a second image on my card. The panel that I stamped off onto will make a second card, but the image will be lighter.

J'ai vaporisé de l'eau sur l'étampe et j'ai étampé sur un morceau de papier aquarelle.  J'ai étampé une seconde fois sur un morceau de papier cartonné et répété le procédé pour avoir une seconde image sur ma carte.  J'ai travaillé deux cartes à la fois.

The template masked off the area around the stamping. Once I had stamped the image twice, I removed the template and dried the image carefully. I placed the inside of the template (the circle) over the stamped images to mask them. I then tapped Nuance powder all around the circular mask, and spritzed the powder with water.

Après avoir étampé l'image 2 fois, j'ai enlevé le pochoir extérieur et j'ai laissé sécher.  J'ai placé le cercle sur les images étampées pour les cacher.  J'ai ensuite saupoudré les poudres Nuance autour du cercle et vaporisé de l'eau.

To define the circle around the main image further, I first dried the background, and then placed the template with the open circle back on the panel, and drew around the circle with a green Micron pen.

Pour définir le cercle autour du sujet principal, j'ai d'abord fait sécher et j'ai remis le morceau extérieur et j'ai dessiné le cercle avec un marqueur Micron vert.

I sprayed water onto the rest of the Nuance on my mat, and picked up some with a brush and flicked spots onto the background image. 

J'ai ensuite vaporisé de l'eau sur le reste des poudres sur mon tapis de travail et avec un pinceau j'ai ajouté des gouttelettes de couleur.

I added a sentiment and mounted it to a card.

J'ai ajouté le texte et fait le montage de la carte.

At the end, not wanting to waste the wet Nuance that was left on my mat, I dragged another piece of watercolor cardstock through it, and created a background for another card.

Et pour ne pas perdre de couleurs qui étaient toujours sur mon tapis, je l'ai transféré sur un autre morceau de papier aquarelle et ainsi créé un autre fond pour une prochaine carte.
