Voici une carte extrêmement rapide à faire, de temps en temps c’est agréable! J’ai simplement brossé quelques couleurs d’encre sur du papier glacé (Kromekote) et j’ai étampé le motif à l’encre noire permanente. 

En fait, j’ai mis beaucoup plus de temps à décider quelle couleur de papier choisir pour mettre le tout en valeur!

Here is an extremely quick card to make, once in a while it's nice! I simply brushed a few ink colors onto glossy paper (Kromekote) and stamped the design in permanent black ink.

In fact, it took me a lot longer to decide which color of paper to choose to enhance it!

Sur un papier glacé (Kromekote) j’ai appliqué des lignes d’encres à l’alcool. Une fois bien sec, j’ai étampé la fleur 3 fois, rehaussée de marqueurs Tombow dans les tons de mauve et de vert. Un peu de marqueur noir tracé en points ou spirales ici et là complètent le tout.

On a glossy paper (Kromekote) I applied lines of alcohol inks. Once dry, I stamped the flower 3 times, enhanced with Tombow markers in shades of mauve and green. A bit of black marker drawn in dots or spirals here and there completes the whole thing.

J’ai d’abord mis en couleur un carton de papier glacé (Kromekote) avec des encres à l’alcool. Une fois bien sec, j’ai tracé en mauve le pochoir de fleurs. Puis j’ai étampé deux fois le motif de fleurs et feuilles à l’encre permanente noire. J’ai ajouté des couleurs aux Tombow ici et là, ainsi que tracé de lignes ou des points au marqueur blanc. Comme il y avait un espace plus libre dans le coin supérieur droit, je pensais y ajouter un texte, mais finalement j’ai jugé plus amusant de coller ces deux fleurs qui me restaient d’un autre projet: étampées sur papier blanc régulier et mise en couleur aux crayons, puis découpées, pétales légèrement recourbés.

I first colored a glossy paper (Kromekote) with alcohol inks. Once dry, I traced the flower stencil in purple. Then I stamped the flower and leaf design twice with permanent black ink. I added colors with Tombow markers here and there, as well as drawing lines or dots with a white marker. Since there was more free space in the upper right corner, I was thinking of adding some text there, but in the end I thought it was more fun to paste these two flowers that I had left over from another project: stamped on regular white paper and put in color with pencils, then cut out, slightly curved petals.

Encore un classique : un panier de fleurs victorien mis en couleur en appliquant du marqueur à base d’eau directement sur le caoutchouc, puis en étampant sur du papier glacé (Kromekote) pour garder toute la finesse d’impression et l’éclat des couleurs. Il faut simplement travailler vite pour que les couleurs ne sèchent pas avant d’étamper. On peut appliquer une couleur plutôt neutre sur toute la surface avant d’ajouter les couleurs, pour être sûr de n’oublier aucune partie du motif. Souffler de l’haleine aide à humidifier les couleurs avant d’étamper. 

Another classic: a Victorian flower basket colored by applying water-based marker directly to the rubber, then stamping on glossy cardstock (Kromekote) to keep all the print smoothness and vividness of the colors. You just have to work fast so that the colors do not dry out before stamping. You can apply a rather neutral color to the entire surface before adding the colors, to be sure not to forget any part of the pattern. Breathing out helps moisten colors before stamping.
