Magenta recherche de nouveaux artistes pour son Design Team et acceptera vos applications jusqu’au 12 Mars 2017.

Les nouveaux membres seront contactés lorsqu’ils auront été sélectionnés. Une fois l'accord passé entre eux et Magenta, ils seront annoncés officiellement comme membres du DT Magenta.

INFORMATIONS GÉNÉRALES

Nous recherchons des gens qui doivent:

• Être une passionnée des arts du papier (cartes, scrapbooking, collage, mixte media etc.) et ayant un bon esprit d’équipe
• Prendre de belles photos
• Posséder un blog actif mis à jour régulièrement
• Être actif sur les différents forums (de magasins, ou autres)
• Avoir la possibilité d'écrire des messages tutoriel blog en anglais ou en français ou faire des instructions tutoriel vidéo
• Publiciser ses créations régulièrement sur une autre forme du média social (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter)

Votre rôle auprès de Magenta est de représenter et commercialiser nos produits.

Comme membre du DT Magenta, vous devrez promouvoir Magenta aussi souvent que possible. Pour cela, vous devez avoir un blogue en activité avec un lien vers notre site/blogue officiel ainsi que vers les blogues des autres membres du DT. Les membres du DT sont également encouragés à soumettre des projets à divers magazines de scrapbooking, étampes et/ou loisirs créatifs.

Vous serez responsable de la soumission et de l'affichage d'un minimum de 2 projets par mois pour le blog de Magenta (au choix : carte, ATC, page de scrapbook, page de journal, médias mixtes, tutoriel ou autres).

Votre engagement en tant que DT, contrat d’une durée d’un (1) an.

Magenta is looking for new Design Team Members and will be accepting applications through March 12th, 2017.

New design team members will be announced once they have been contacted and accepted the Magenta Design Team offer.

GENERAL INFORMATION

We are looking for people who:

• have a passion for paper arts (cards, scrapbooking, art journaling, collage, mixed media, altered pieces, etc.) and are team players
• have strong photography skills
• have an active blog
• have the ability to write tutorial blog posts in either english or french or do video tutorial instructions
• post their creations regularly and are active artistically on at least one other form of social media besides their blog (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter)

SUBMIT 2 RECENT ORIGINAL CREATIONS
for the paper arts category/categories you wish to be considered for 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Your main function as a Design Team Member for Magenta is to represent and market our products.

As a Magenta DT Member, you will promote Magenta whenever possible. It is required that you have an active blog, where there should be a link to our website/official blog and other DT member’s blog. DT Members are encouraged to submit to calls for scrapbooking/art magazine(s) of their corresponding location.

You will be responsible for submitting and posting a minimum of 2 projects of your choice (scrapbook layouts, cards, ATCs, art journal pages, canvases, altered pieces, etc.) per month to the Magenta Blog.

Your commitment to the Magenta DT is for a period of 1 year.

Nouvelles couleurs de Nuance - New Nuance Colours

Voilà les nouvelles couleurs sont disponibles.  Elles sont légèrement différentes des couleurs précédentes... elles sont chouettes mélangées entre elles ou simplement saupoudrées côte à côte.

Our new Nuance colours are now available.  They are a little bit different from the previous colours.  It is fun to mix them or simply sprinkle them next to each other.

Je vous ai préparé 2 chartes...  la première vous montre la couleur mélangée et saupoudrée sur papier aquarelle...

I made 2 charts... the first one shows the colours mixed and sprinkled on watercolour paper.

Et la deuxième des résultats que l'on peut obtenir en mélangeant deux couleurs ensemble sur papier aquarelle... C'est certain que les résultats peuvent varier en fonction des proportions... C'est amusant de mélanger les couleurs...

And the second one shows the results of mixing 2 colors together.  Of course, the result will be different depending of the proportion mixed.  It is fun to mix colours together....

J'espère que vous vous amuserez autant que moi avec ces nouvelles couleurs!

Nouvelle couleur Nuance Chartreuse / New Colour Nuance

   

Sur papier aquarelle mouillé, j'ai appliqué la Nuance avec un pinceau en silicone pour créer des rainures sur la surface de papier. J'ai étampé les fleurs avec de l'encre Versafine noire et embossé à la poudre claire. La mise en couleur s'est faite avec les crayons Neocolor . Pour terminer mon projet j'ai répété le motif en arrière-plan à l'encre Distress.


On wet watercolour paper, I applied the Nuance with a brush, to create grooves on the surface of the paper. I stamped the flowers with black Versafine ink and heat embossed with clear. I coloured the flowers with Neocolor crayons. To finish it off, I repeated the stamping with distress inks in the background.

Feuilles dansantes en douceur avec Nuance - Dancing leaves with Nuance

   

Sur papier aquarelle, les couleurs corail et océan de Nuance ont été utilisées avec du gesso. L'étampe a été ajoutée et embossée pour ensuite faire la mise en couleur avec les crayons Neocolor. Pour terminer, j'ai encré tous les côtés et aspergé mon projet de gesso dilué avec un peu d'eau.


On watercolour paper, I used the Nuance Coral and Ocean with gesso.
I stamped and embossed the leaves and coloured them with Neocolor crayons.
To finish, I inked the edges and splashed on a little bit of water.

L'amitié en Nuance - Friendship in Nuance

   

Avec un mélange de Nuance sur papier aquarelle, j'ai étampé et embossé le motif de fleur. Ensuite avec le pochoir et de l'encre Distress j'ai ajouté de la texture. Avec un crayon Sharpie blanc j'ai accentué et ajouté de la douceur avec une série de point sur les fleurs et des traits sur les motifs du pochoir.

I stamped and embossed the flower on watercolour paper that was already coloured with Nuance powders.  I added texture with a stencil and distress ink.  With a white Sharpie, I added several dots on the flower and here and there in other places.

Choose Happiness Shaker - Choisir le bonheur

I love the round bird masks, and when I was working with this one I thought it would be perfect for a shaker card.


J'aime ce masque rond d'oiseau et j'ai pensé qu'avec celui-ci je pourrais faire une jolie carte "shaker".

First I masked off around the mask and blended Distress ink in Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet and Blueprint Sketch. I added some white dots using a Uniball white gel pen. 

Premièrement j'ai masqué autour du masque et j'ai utilisé des encres distress en les mélangeant:  "Raspberry, Wilted Violet et Blueprint Sketch".  J'ai ajouté des petits points blanc avec un crayon gel Uniball.

For the top of the card I cut a piece of white cardstock 5.5" x 5.5" square, and cut a 3" circle out of the center. I embossed around the circle with a Big Shot machine, using the Magenta Doily mask.

Pour le dessus de la carte, j'ai coupé un morceau de carton blanc carré de
 5.5" x 5.5" et j'ai coupé au centre un cercle de 3". J'ai embossé autour du cercle avec une machine "Big Shot" le masque dentelle circulaire.

I adhered a piece of acetate to the inside of the embossed panel. I cut a piece of craft foam  just smaller than 5.5' x 5.5", and cut a 3" circle out of the center. This piece was adhered to the back of the acetate. I adhered adhesive all around the edge of the circle on the foam.

J'ai collé un morceau d'acétate à l'intérieur du morceau embossé.  J'ai coupé un morceau de mousse juste un peu plus petit que 5.5" x 5.5" et j'ai ouver un cercle de 3" au centre.  Ce morceau a été collé à l'endos de l'acétate.  J'ai collé tout autour du bord du cercle sur la mousse.

After sprinkling some sequins and a few small beads onto the piece with the birds, I adhered the cover piece over it, being careful to line up the circle of foam with the color-blended circle.

Après avoir collé quelques paillettes et quelques petites perles sur la partie des oiseaux, j'ai collé le panneau du haut, en prenant soin d'enligner le cercle de moussse avec le cercle coloré.

I added a sentiment by stamping with Versamark onto purple cardstock and embossing with White Diamond embossing powder. I added a few sequins to the top of the card.

J'ai ajouté le texte avec du Versamark sur un morceau de carton violet et embossé avec de la poudre à embosser "White Diamond".  J'ai ajouté encore quelques paillettes sur le dessus de la carte.

Dancing lady - La danseuse

A big advantage of the new Magenta stencils designed by Miranda is that you will also receive the negative part of the stencil, which you can use as a mask.

I have first colored the dancing lady with distress ink and than removed the stencil and placed the negative mask on top of it to color and finish the background.  

Magenta inclus avec les pochoirs de Miranda la partie négative qui sert de masques ce qui devient un bel avantage.

J'ai d'abord mis en couleur la danseuse avec l'encre distress ensuite j'en retiré le pochoir et placé le masque sur la danseuse pour terminer le fond de la carte.

Pochoir feuilles sur Nuance - Leaves stencil

Sur une surface travaillée avec Nuance et gesso, j'ai utilisé le pochoir avec de la pâte de texture souple. J'ai ensuite accentué les ombres à l'aide des marqueurs Tombow pour plus de dimension.
J'ai effleuré à quelques endroits les feuilles avec du Versamark et saupoudrées de poudre à embosser blanche pour ajouter brillance et intérêt à mon projet .

I worked on a background of gesso and Nuance powders, and applied soft modeling paste through a stencil. I accentuated the shadows with Tombow markers to give more dimension.  Then I lightly touched some parts of the leaves with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder to add light and interest to my project.

Happy birthday - Joyeux anniversaire

Here is a resist technique using micro glaze.
The multilingual happy birthday text is stamped with micro glaze and then distress inks have been applied to the background.

Voici une technique de résiste avec du "micro glaze".
Le texte est imprimé avec du "micro glaze' et l'encre distress est ensuite appliquée.
