Décoration d'Halloween / Halloween Deco

J'aimerais vous proposer une décoration d'Halloween cette année.

Voici un petit arbre que j'ai confectionné.

I would like to show you an Halloween decoration I made this year.

Here's a little tree that I made.

Il est fait avec du fil de métal noir (19G) que j'ai simplement entortillé, tressé et je l'ai décoré.

It's made out of black metal wire (19G) that I simply entwined, braided and I decorated it.

J'ai utilisé des fanions en carton ondulé, j'ai écrit mon mot "joyeux" à la main et je l'ai encré. Je l'ai ensuite accroché sur une corde à mon arbre et j'ai mis quelques points de colle pour le faire tenir en place.

I used corrugated stock flags, I wrote the word "Joyeux" (Happy) by hand and inked it. Then I hung it on my tree with a rope and I added some glue to hold it in place.

Mon mot Halloween est un chipboard autocollant saupoudré de brillant noir. Le chat est une étampe.

The Halloween word is an adhesive chipboard dusted with black glitter. The cat is a stamp.

J'ai aussi utilisé l'étampe du fantôme grimaçant embossé clair sur un carton blanc et encré en noir par-dessus.

I also used the Ghostly Grin Stamp embossed with clear ink on a white cardstock and inked with black on top.

Et voici comment on fait une petite citrouille.

And here is how you make a little pumpkin.

Premièrement on prend une retaille de papier orange et on coupe 6 bandes de papiers de la même longueur. Disons 7 pouces pour cette fois-ci et 1/2 pouce de large.

First we take a orange paper left over and we cut 6 bands of papers of the same size. Let's say 7 inches for this and half and inch wide.

Avec 2 attaches parisiennes on attache les milieux ensemble et on ouvre le tout en fleur.

With 2 brads we attach the middles together and we open the whole like a flower.

Et pour terminer on remonte le tout en prenant les bandes dans l'ordre. J'ai utilisé mon attache parisienne à l'envers, c'est plus facile ainsi.

And finally to finish up we bring everything up taking the bands in order. I used my brad upside down, it's easier that way.

Voilà une belle petite citrouille, ne reste qu'à ajouter des feuilles encrées, de la cordelette et faire des petits rouleaux de papiers.

Now you have a little pumkin, you only have to had inked leaves, some thread and to make small paper rolls.

Et faire un champ de petite citrouilles.

And make a little pumpkin field.

Pour attirer la lumière sur l'arbre, on peut mettre du stickles un peu partout sur les décorations de l'arbre. J'ai aussi ajouter des petites chauve-souris découpés dans du papier pour ajouter de la couleur, des toiles d'araignées avec ses petites araignées. Un centre de table qui ne passera pas inaperçu!

To bring light on the tree, you can put stickles here and there on the decorations. I also added some bats cutted in paper to add color, spider webs with tiny spiders. Here's a center piece that will certainly won't go unoticed!

L'heure des devoirs avec Magenta / Homework time with Magenta

Cette année, ma fille commence sa première année et aussi, sa première année de devoirs!!! Devoirs et leçons = besoin de silence et de tranquillité... donc j'ai eu l'idée de faire cette petite affichette pour qu'Arielle la mette sur sa porte de chambre!

This year, my daughter is starting her 1st grade and also, her first year of homeworks!!!

Homework and studying = need of calm and quiet... I had the idea of making this little sign that Arielle quand hang on her bedroom door!

Un coup d'oeil sur le détail de l'étampe, je l'ai colorée avec des crayons de bois de couleur puis j'ai étendu la couleur avec de la taltine, j'adore l'effet que ça donne.

A little look on the stamp detail, I colored it with color pencils and used taltine solvent to spread the colors, I love the results.

Magenta, c'est aussi des fleurs! / Magenta, it's also flowers!

Les fleurs de papier sont mes préférées! J'ai décidé de vous montrer un petit tutoriel pour fabriquer des fleurs avec les papiers Magenta!!!

Paper flowers are my favorites! I decided to present you a little step by step to make flowers using Magenta Papers!!!

D'abord, vous devez avoir deux ou trois poinçons avec un motif de fleurs à cinq pétales. Poinçonner trois fleurs du gros format, deux du moyen et une ou deux du petit format, selon la grosseur de la fleur que vous voulez faire. Pour la petite fleur, je n'avais pas de poinçon assez petit, alors j'ai coupé le bout des pétales du moyen format. Ensuite, vous devez avoir de la colle, une bouteille pour vaporiser de l'eau, de l'encre de votre choix et un pinceau ou une baguette de bois.

First you need two or three punches with five petals flower motifs. Punch three of the big one, two of the medium and one or two of the small one, depending of the size you want to obtain. For the small flowers, I didn't have a punch small enough, so I cutted the tip of the petals of the medium size. Then, you need glue, a small vaporising bottle filled with water, ink of your choice and a paintbrush or wood stick.

Une fois les fleurs poinçonner, encrez le contour des pétales :

Once your flowers are punched, inked the edge of the petals :

Vaporisez généreusement chaque fleur pour rendre le papier malléable :

Generously spray water on each flower to make the paper easy to manipulate :

Avec le bout du pinceau, enroulez les pétales pour leurs donner une forme arrondie :

With the tip of your paintbrush, roll the petals to give them a rounded shape :

Gardez le pétale sur le pinceau et pincez-le de chaque côté pour le froisser. Attention, si le papier n'est pas assez mouillé il déchirera.

Keep the petal on the brush and pinch each side to make it crumple. Careful if the paper is not wet enough it will rip.

Sur un tapis mousse, pressez le pinceau au coeur de la fleur pour la faire courber.

On a foam mat press the tip of the paintbruch at the center of the flower to make it curve.

Si vous le désirez, vous pouvez aussi pincer la fleur sur la base du pinceau :

If you want, you can also pinch the flower on the paintbrush's base :

Laissez sécher complètement les fleurs une fois ce travail terminé, ensuite vous pourrez faire le montage.

Let the flowers dry completely after that, then you'll be able to assemble them.

Pour le montage, collez les fleurs par étage en décallant les pétales. J'ai trouvé plus facile de le faire par grandeur de fleurs et ensuite de coller l'ensemble :

To assemble, glue the flowers by alternating the petals spacing. I found it easier to do all the flowers of one size first and then glue the different sizes together :

Une fois le montage terminé, vous pouvez laisser le bout des pétales rond ou les pincer pour donner un autre effet. Ensuite, vous encrez de nouveau pour rehausser certains détails :

Once your assembling is done, you can leave the tip of the petals round or pinch them to give it another look. Then you can ink them again to pop details up :

Pour les très petites fleurs, je n'ai utilisé que le petit format de fleur. J'ai modifié le bout des pétales avec les ciseaux.

For the very small flowers, I only used the small punch size. I modified the tip of the petals with scissors.

Prenez chaque pétale et froissez-le :

Take each petal and crumple it :

Aidez-vous avec la pointe d'un pinceau pour courber la fleur et faciliter le montage :

Use the tip of a paintbrush to curve the flower and make the assembling easier :

Appliquer la colle pour faire le montage et utilisez la pointe du pinceau ou d'un stylus pour presser les étages ensemble:

Apply glue and use the tip of a paintbrush or stylus to press the layers together :

Retravaillez les pétales pour former la fleur finale :

Rework the petals to shape the final flower :

Mini Nature

La nature c'est pour moi synonyme de promenades, d'exploration mais c'est aussi un indispensable. J'ai besoin de pouvoir compter sur elle pour freiner le rythme incessant de la vie active et ainsi pourvoir trouver un équilibre.

For me Nature is synonym of promenades, explorations but it's also essential. I need to count on it to break the breathtaking life rythm and find balance.

Je vous propose donc un mini aux allures de nature avec sa couverture en carton ondulé, les chipboard animaux et fleurs. J'ai choisi pour les pages du papier kraft et des pages faites maison avec du plastique reclyclé chauffé.

So I'm presenting you a mini album inspired by nature with it's corrugated stock cover, animal and flower chipboards. I chose for the pages kraft papers and home made pages made with heated recycled plastic.

J'ai utilisé le petale d'un chipboard géant fleur ( déco murale ) de Magenta pour réaliser un ornement flottant entre deux pages. Celui-ci a été coloré au pan patel et recouvert de Utee.

I used the petal from a Magenta giant chipboard (Home Decor) to realise a floating ornament between two pages. It was colored with pan pastel and covered with Utee.

L'étampage avec de l'encre permanente sur les pages de plastique altéré permet de creer un fond interressant au texte du journaling.

Stamping with dye inks on the altered plastic pages creates an interesting background to the journaling text.

L'ajout de feuillage maintient la thématique du mini.

Adding foliages maintains the theme of the mini.

Chipboard fleur peint avec de la peinture en pastille métallisée et la clotûre altérée au crackle paint.

The Flower chipboard is painted with metalic paint and the fence altered with crackle paint.
