These cards are based on a technique I learned in a class on Nuance by Hélène Métivier, and they were fun and easy to make.

I used watercolor cardstock, the Crest 4-04 Stencil and some Nuance powder. First I placed the stencil onto the watercolor cardstock and sprinkled Nuance powder onto it, trying to concentrate the color in the openings. I lightly sprayed the Nuance to activate it, and it covered the stencil and the openings with beautiful color.
J'ai utilisé un papier aquarelle, le pochoir Crest 4-04 et quelques couleurs des poudres Nuance. Premièrement j'ai placé le pochoir sur le papier aquarelle et j'ai saupoudré de la poudre par-dessus en essayant de la concentrer dans les ouvertures. J'ai légèrement vaporiser de l'eau pour activer la poudre et cela fait en sorte que le pochoir est plein de couleur ainsi que les ouvertures.
I carefully picked up the stencil and placed it wet-side down onto another piece of watercolor cardstock. The Nuance that was on the stencil transferred to my cardstock and made a mirror image of the first card.
Délicatement j'ai enlevé le pochoir et je l'ai placé face mouillée sur un autre morceau de papier aquarelle. La couleur qui était sur le pochoir s'est trouvée à se transférer sur le papier et a créé un effet miroir.
I had the urge to Zentangle in the openings, so I drew lines around them first and then did different tangles in each space.
J'ai eu une envie soudaine de faire du gribouillage dans les ouvertures alors j'ai dessiner les lignes pour bien délimiter les ouvertures et ensuite j'ai commencé mon gribouillage.
I flicked some mica watercolor from Artquest onto each card and stamped sentiments with Versafine ink.
J'ai ajouté de fines goutellettes d'aquarelle de USArtquest sur chaque carte et j'ai étampé le texte avec de l'encre noire Versafine.
