Variations sur un thème # 2 - Variations on a Theme # 2

Voici un second blogue dans l’esprit de celui que j’ai fait au début de février, sur les variations que certaines étampes peuvent nous inspirer. Ceux qui connaissent mon livre « Magenta Style Paper Enchantments » connaissent déjà cette étampe que j’y ai utilisée. Elle est très amusante à essayer groupée de plusieurs façons. En particulier lorsqu’on l’étampe 4 fois, elle permet des mouvements tournants variés selon que l’on place la fleur vers le centre, ou les feuilles, et selon qu’on colle les carrés ou qu’on les espace.

Here is a second blog post in the spirit of the one that I posted early in February on the variations that certain stamps can inspire. Those who know my book "Magenta Style Paper Enchantments" will be familiar with this stamp that I used. It is very fun to try grouping the stamped image in many different ways. In particular, when it is stamped 4 times, it allows various rotating movements according to whether the flower is placed towards the center, or the leaves, and according to whether the squares are stuck together or that they are spaced apart.

Voici plusieurs exemples de fantaisies sur ce thème. Toutes les étampes de fleurs sont embossées (en noir sur papier cartonné blanc ou en blanc sur papier cartonné noir) et majoritairement peintes à l’aquarelle iridescente.

Here are several examples of variations on this theme. All flower stamps are embossed (black on white cardstock or white on black cardstock) and mostly painted with iridescent watercolours.

Quant aux cartes suivantes... du découpage, pourquoi pas, pour ensuite recomposer le casse-tête... à l'infini!

As for the following cards ... cutting to then recompose the puzzle ... endlessly!

Couper chaque carré en deux sections ou en quatre, jouer avec les couleurs et le positionnement des pièces... c'est amusant!

Cut each square in two sections or four, play with the colours and positioning of the pieces ... it's so much fun!
