Guest Designer Norine Borys / Artiste invitée Norine Borys

Hello again Magenta friends! Norine here with you again today, with another project to share. This is a very simple but beautiful technique done with stamping, colouring with real-brush markers and then fussy cutting. Let's begin!

Bonjour! C'est Norine aujourd'hui avec un nouveau projet à partager. C'est une technique simple mais très belle faite avec des étampes, mise en couleur avec des marqueurs "real-brush" et ensuite découpé à la main. Commençons!

For this card, I stamped the tulip image and the leaf image onto bristol smooth cardstock. Then, I used real-brush markers, and a water brush to colour and blend the shades and finally, fussy cut them out.

Pour cette carte, j'ai étampé l'image de tulipe et l'image de feuille sur le papier cartonné bristol. Ensuite, j'ai utilisé des marqueurs "real brush", et un pinceau à eau pour colorer et mélanger les nuances et enfin les découper.

On another piece of card stock, I trimmed 1/8" off each side, then stamped the script stamp on the center of the cardstock, and machine sewed around the edge of the stamping to frame it. I arranged the stamped, cut out designs onto the card front and adhered them with a strong liquid glue.

Sur un autre morceau de papier cartonné, j'ai découpé 1/8 "de chaque côté, puis étampé au centre du carton, et cousu à la machine autour du bord de l'étampe pour le cadrer sur le devant de la carte et les ai collés avec une forte colle liquide.

Next, I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of vellum and heat embossed it. Then, I folded the ends of the vellum strip around the sides of the card panel and adhered them to the back.

Ensuite, j'ai étampé le sentiment sur une bande de vélin et je l'ai embossé. Ensuite, j'ai plié les extrémités de la bande de vélin autour des côtés du panneau de carte et les ai collées à l'arrière.
