Tellement facile à faire!
Avec une spatule, j'ai étalé, aussi lisse que possible, une bonne couche
de pâte à relief sur le cache de fleurs qui couvre entièrement le morceau de
papier aquarelle utilisé ici.
J’ai retiré délicatement le cache pour ne pas griffer la surface de
pâte. Et j’ai vite lavé mon cache et ma spatule pour que ce soit facile à
nettoyer.
Bon, c’est long à sécher, environ 2 heures. Mais une fois bien sec, j’ai
simplement saupoudré de la poudre Nuance de plusieurs tons de bleu et vert, que
j’ai aspergée d’eau. J’ai alors tamponné avec un essuie-tout ici et là, ou
encore utilisé un pinceau mouillé, afin de dégager les fleurs en relief pour
qu’elles se détachent suffisamment du fond bleu.
Encore un peu de séchage et voilà. C’est tellement joli que je n’ai pas
voulu trop le cacher, alors j’ai ajouté du ruban étroit et une mini carte
décorée du même cache, encré de bleu.

With a spatula, I spread as
smooth as possible, a good layer of modeling paste on the flower mask that completely
covers the piece of watercolor cardstock used here.
I gently removed the mask
so as not to scratch the surface of the paste. And I quickly washed my mask and
spatula to make it easy to clean.
Well, it takes a long time
to dry, about 2 hours. But once dry, I simply sprinkled several shades of blue and green of Nuance powder, which I sprayed with water. I then dabbed
with a paper towel here and there, or used a wet brush, to clean the flowers in
relief so that they stand out enough from the blue background.
A little more drying and
that's it. It's so pretty that I did not want to hide it too much,
so I added a
narrow ribbon and a mini card decorated with the same mask, inked in blue.

a wonderful technique! The varying shades of blues and greens really allow the flowers to pop.
I was really happy to see how well the modeling paste works with the Nuance powders. I made other ones since, and colors are always stunning.
