This Friday I will show you how you can easily use a stencil in a different way.

On the backside of the stencil sprinkle Nuance rosebud on it and spray some water on it to activate the powder. Than turn on the stencil and press it down on a piece of watercolor paper. Make sure you have a paper towel by hand so you can blot up the Nuance peeking thru the openings of the stencil.

Sur le dos du pochoir, saupoudrez de la poudre Nuance rose et vaporisez de l'eau dessus pour activer la poudre. Puis retournez le pochoir et appuyez-le sur un morceau de papier aquarelle. Assurez-vous d’avoir un essuie-tout à la main afin de pouvoir essuyer à travers les ouvertures du pochoir.

After a minute of two you can remove the stencil and your result will look like this. Let it air dry or heat set it with your heat tool. The background needs to be dry for the next step.

Après une minute de deux, vous pouvez retirer le pochoir et votre résultat ressemblera à ceci. Laissez-le sécher à l'air ou séchez-le avec votre outil thermique. Le fond doit être sec pour la prochaine étape.

With a very thin black marker I traced the outlines of the Rosa Canina. I die cut out the panel with a square die with dotted lines and matted on black cardstock. Added the Thanks stamp on a black label. I have stamped the text with Versamark and heat set it with white embossing powder.

Avec un marqueur noir très fin, j'ai tracé les contours du Rosa Canina. J'ai découpé avec un emporte-pièce le panneau avec une matrice carrée avec des lignes en pointillés et collée sur du papier cartonné noir. Ajoutez le texte Thanks sur une étiquette noire. J'ai étampé le texte avec de l'encre Versamark et embossé avec de la poudre blanche.

And another one with the same technique. On this one the Nuance did seek thru the openings too much, I was too late to depp it off with a paper towel.
So to solve this I just used bleech and removed the color with a small brush.

Et une autre avec la même technique. Sur celle-là, l'eau teintée de Nuance cherchait trop à traverser les ouvertures, j'étais trop tard pour détacher avec une serviette en papier.

Donc, pour résoudre ce problème, je me suis contentée d'utiliser de l'eau de Javel et j'ai enlevé la couleur avec un petit pinceau.
