Tranquil Tuesday with Jane/Les mardis tranquilles avec Jane

"Hope Springs Eternal". I created a faux stained glass panel in my altered book art journal by stamping the Large Rosa Canina stamp on transparency film with Stazon ink. I "painted" the image on the opposite side of the film with alcohol inks. I sandwiched the sheet between two pages of the book that I had cut a window in. I love how you can see through to the opposite page on either side of the panel. I know I will definitely be trying this technique again!

"Hope Springs Eternal". J'ai créé un faux vitrail dans mon journal d'art en étampant la grande Rosa Canina sur un film transparent à l'encre Stazon. J'ai "peint" l'image sur la face opposée du film avec des encres à l'alcool. J'ai pris la feuille entre deux pages du livre dans lequel j'avais coupé une fenêtre. J'aime voir comment on peut voir la page opposée de chaque côté du panneau. Je sais que je vais certainement essayer à nouveau cette technique!
