Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi everyone, it's Christine here. One thing I love to do as a part of my card making is to playing with backgrounds, that means I always have a stash sitting for the right occasion or stamp.
This card started out as distress inks blended on mixed media paper, I then took some Tsukineko All Purpose Ink (Frost White) on some cling wrap and pounced it over the blended inks. The effect is called  faux mother of pearl. I then used the Galaxy Cluster stamp and covered the whole area using distress oxide ink. The Delicate Leaf Branch was stamped and coloured using Zig watercolour pen to make the leaves stand out a little on the background and then used the smaller bubble path stencil and distress ink around the leaves. I finished the card with a white frame, which then gives it a Clean and Simple look.

Salut à tous, c'est Christine ici. Une chose que j'aime faire pour une partie de ma fabrication de cartes est de jouer avec les arrière-plans, cela signifie que j'ai toujours une réserve cachée pour la bonne occasion ou la bonne étampe.

Cette carte a commencé sur un papier mélangé, puis j’ai pris un peu d’encre Tsukineko tout usage (blanc givré) sur du papier saram et je l’ai taponné par-dessus les encres mélangées. L'effet s'appelle faux nacre. J'ai ensuite utilisé l'étampe Galaxie r et recouvert toute la surface avec une encre Distress Oxide. La branche de feuille délicate a été étampée et colorée à l’aide de pochoirs à l’aquarelle. J'ai fini la carte avec un cadre blanc, ce qui lui donne un aspect simple et net.
