Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi there it's Christine here at Magenta with a fun background technique for you.

The card was created using distress stains and splattering them onto mixed media paper. The sponge on the top of the stain container needs to be primed with stain so it's quite wet, then simply hold it upside down and hit the paper with the primed sponge. When you do this quickly the stain splats out sideways and gives this wonderful spray of colour.

La carte a été créée en utilisant du Distress Stains en les éclaboussant sur du papier pour technique mixte. L'éponge sur le dessus du récipient à teinture doit être apprêtée avec de la couleur afin qu'elle soit assez humide, puis maintenez-la simplement à l'envers et frappez le papier avec l'éponge apprêtée. Lorsque vous faites cela rapidement, la tache éclabousse latéralement et donne ce magnifique jet de couleur.

I then inked the heart flower stamp in the MISTI and coloured the image with alcohol markers. Once the image was coloured I used Versafine Clair ink and clear embossing powder and heat embossed the image, I'm not ready to put a sentiment on this yet so I've left some space.

J'ai ensuite encré l'étampe de fleurs dans le MISTI et coloré l’image avec des marqueurs à l’alcool. Une fois que l'image a été colorée, j'ai utilisé l'encre Versafine Clair, de la poudre à embosser transparente et j'ai embossé je ne suis pas encore prête à imprimer un texte, j'ai donc laissé de la place.
