Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi everyone it's Christine here at Magenta. I've been playing with a fine tip pen (Sacura Micron 03) and shading the petals of the flowers.  This is a technique I found over at Split Coast Stampers called Stamp Etching. Once I finished the petals I coloured the leaves in Prismacolor pencils. I then masked the flower to blend the background and added some stencilling.

This is a close up of how the etching starts out, you just build up the edges using a mix of short and long lines.
