Super Saturday with Pam - Super Samedis avec Pam

Welcome back to Super Saturday. I needed to make some encouragement cards and this sentiment from Magenta has always been one of my favorites.

Bienvenue à Super Samedi. Je devais faire des cartes d'encouragement et ce sentiment de Magenta a toujours été l'un de mes favoris.

I started by using my MISTI to stamp the Sketch Blossom on a piece of white cardstock with VersaFine Black Onyx ink.  Without moving the stamp, I rotated the paper and stamped again.  I repeated this process again on another piece of cardstock so I had a total of three stamped images.

I colored the images with Prismacolor pencils.  I used yellow and oranges for the flowers and greens for the leaves.  I wanted to re-stamp over the original image to define lines of the flower.  I used an anti-static powder tool on the images because the embossing powder will sometimes stick to the colored pencil.  I returned the cardstock to the MISTI the stamped each image with VersaMark ink.  I embossed with gold embossing powder then used detail scissors to cut out each flower.

For the background I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock with Sepia VersaFine ink then embossed with clear embossing powder.  I placed a mask over the sentiment, then lightly splattered yellow, orange and gold watercolor paints over the cardstock, then set it aside to dry.

I adhered the background to a piece of yellow cardstock, then adhered it to a white A2 card.  I arranged the flowers and the used foam tape to adhere them to the front of the card.  Since the flowers extended over the edge of the card, I trimmed them with scissors but I forgot to take a picture of that step.

J'ai commencé par utiliser mon MISTI pour étamper la fleur de croquis sur un morceau de papier cartonné blanc avec de l'encre VersaFine Black Onyx. Sans déplacer l'étampe, j'ai fait pivoter le papier et à nouveau étampé. J'ai répété ce processus sur un autre morceau de papier cartonné, de sorte que j'avais un total de trois images étampées. 

 J'ai coloré les images avec des crayons Prismacolor. J'ai utilisé du jaune et des oranges pour les fleurs et des verts pour les feuilles. Je voulais re-étamper sur l'image originale pour définir les lignes de la fleur. J'ai utilisé un outil anti-statique en poudre sur les images, car la poudre à embosser collerait parfois au crayon de couleur. J'ai renvoyé le papier cartonné au MISTI en y apposant une encre VersaMark sur chaque image. J'ai embossé de la poudre à embosser dorée puis j'ai utilisé des ciseaux de détail pour découper chaque fleur. 

 Pour le fond, j'ai imprimé le sentiment sur un morceau de papier cartonné blanc avec de l'encre Sepia VersaFine, puis embossé avec de la poudre à embosser transparente. Je plaçai un masque sur le sentiment, puis éclaboussai légèrement d'aquarelle jaune, orange et or sur le papier cartonné, puis le laissai sécher. 

 J'ai collé le fond sur un morceau de papier cartonné jaune, puis sur une carte A2 blanche. J'ai arrangé les fleurs et le ruban de mousse utilisé pour les coller au recto de la carte. Comme les fleurs s'étendent sur le bord de la carte, je les ai découpées avec des ciseaux, mais j'ai oublié de prendre une photo de cette étape.
