Signs of Autumn are beginning to appear as days become shorter, nights cooler and leaves turn on their colourful display. Cassandra here today sharing a card inspired by that beautiful Fall colour show.
I started with a 6 x 4 1/2" 140 Lb cold press watercolour paper piece taped to a board. After spritzing the panal with a fine layer of water, I loaded the Clover Silhouette stamp with Fossilized Amber and Rusty Hinge Distress Ink. Then, I stamped it three times across the panel. After dabbing the colour with a paper towel, I reloaded the stamp with just Fossilized Amber and stamped in a couple of spots. Spritzing the background in between and dabbing off some colour, I repeated the process using Spiced Marmalade and Barn Door Distress Inks. Once the panel was dry, I added splatters of Distress Inks. Once dry, I removed the panel from the board and trimmed it to about 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 " and black heat emboss stamped the "be Thankful" sentiment. Lastly, I adhered it onto a gold leaf guilded bottom cardbase and splattered it with Gold Sheer Shimmer Spritz.
