Les beaux dimanches de Nathalie / Nathalie’s Sunny Sundays

Il m’arrive parfois, lorsque je joue avec les encres à l’alcool, d’avoir toutes sortes de couleurs sur mon tapis de bricolage. Plutôt que de le nettoyer avec un essuie-tout et de la solution diluante, de combiner celle-ci avec un papier cartonné blanc et d’essuyer les couleurs avec ce papier. Cela me crée des fonds originaux à utiliser par la suite. C’est ce que j’ai fait ici, m’arrangeant pour ne mettre de la couleur que dans une partie du papier. Cela m’a donné un magnifique ciel, il ne me restait plus qu’à y étamper ces arbres en noir pour obtenir un paysage en hiver. J’ai ensuite simplement ajouté quelques touches de crayon gris et noir sur les arbres pour les nuancer. 

Et voilà!

Sometimes, when I play with alcohol inks, I get all kinds of colors on my craft sheet. Rather than cleaning it with a paper towel and Blending Solution, I combine this one with a white cardstock and wipe the colors off with this paper. This creates me original backgrounds to use later. That's what I did here, trying to put some color in only a part of the paper. It created a beautiful sky, I only had to stamp these trees in black to get a landscape in winter. I then simply added a few touches of gray and black pencil 

on the trees to nuance them. 

And voila!
