I made a background using my Gelli plate and brayered Color Box Premium Dye ink on the surface. The Color Box ink beads as it sits on the surface of the gelli plate because it's water based ink. This gives a great texture effect when you pull the print.
I used the Canada Geese stamp and stencilled a setting sun with the larger circle on the Maple Leaf Trio set by masking the horizon then blending Distress Oxide ink for the sun. I love the extra little stencil shapes that come with some of the new release stencils.

What a wonderful scene! Love the serenity and feeling of movement in the water and the geese look like they're enjoying it too!
So lovely and peaceful. The gelli plate background is perfect.
Such a fabulous card, Christine. Love the way you did the setting sun with its reflection in the water. The Canada Geese stamp is terrific against the gelli plate background.
Beautiful peaceful and calm card Christine. The gelli print background is so soft and subtle. The sun setting over the wter with the Canada Geese create a gorgeous scene.
