Treats on Tuesday with Christine La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi Everyone, it's Christine here at Magenta with with some fun Sliced Wood Christmas ornaments.

I used Versafine Clair ink to stamp the first two ornaments, the ink is quite wet and absorbs into the wood to give a good print.

Ornament 1

I coloured the bird with pencils and added white acrylic paint using a Posca Pen to the bird and white liquid pearls to the berries.

Bonjour tout le monde, c'est Christine ici à Magenta avec quelques amusants ornements de Noël en bois tranchés. 

J'ai utilisé l'encre Versafine Clear pour étamper les deux premiers ornements. L'encre est très humide et le bois l'absorbe pour donner une bonne impression. 

Ornement 1

 J'ai coloré l'oiseau avec des crayons et ajouté du "liquid pearl" aux baies.

I used iridescent medium to cover the surface after stamping.

J'ai utilisé un médium iridescent pour couvrir la surface après l'avoir étampée.

Ornament 3

I used the stencil and white texture paste and then coloured it with red and gold watercolour paint. The sentiment was stamped using Tulip Red Versafine Clair.

Ornement 3

J'ai utilisé un pochoir et une pate de texture blanche et j'ai mis en couleur avec de la peinture aquarelle rouge et dorée.  Le texte a été étampé avec de l'encre Versafine Clair rouge tulipe.
