Tout en étant souvent traditionnelle dans mes cartes du Temps des Fêtes,
j’aime bien parfois adopter d’autres couleurs que le rouge et le vert.
Aujourd’hui je vous présente deux cartes dans les tons de mauve et vert.
Ici le fond de la carte a été moucheté d’encres à l’alcool, appliquées
en gouttes sur le feutre et diluées de solution spéciale (Blending Solutions).
J’ai essayé de faire attention pour ne pas mettre trop de couleur là où je
prévoyais d’étamper les personnages. J’ai étampé tous mes motifs en gris, sauf
le texte en noir pour un meilleur contraste. J’ai rehaussé les éléments de crayon
de couleur et ajouté quelques touches de Stickles Frosted Lace.
While often traditional in my holiday cards, I
sometimes like to adopt other colors than red and green. Today I present you
two cards in shades of mauve and green.
Here the background of the card has been spotted
with alcohol inks, applied in drops on the felt and diluted with Blending
Solution. I tried to be careful not to put too much color where I planned to
stamp the children. I stamped all my patterns in gray, except the text in black
for better contrast. I enhanced the elements with colored pencil and added some
touches of Frosted Lace Stickles.
Cette seconde carte est faite d’un cadre étampé en violet, dont le
centre est découpé, ainsi que le contour. Il sera collé surélevé sur le carton
central. Celui-ci est étampé plusieurs fois en mauve très pâle, avec un motif
assorti à celui du cadre. Le Joyeux Noël est étampé ensuite en violet, décentré
à droite. Il est recommandé d’étamper le texte à travers l’ouverture du cadre,
pour être sûr qu’il soit bien positionné. Trois poinsettias sont étampés en violet
et vert, découpés et ajoutés au montage. Le tout est rehaussé de marqueurs et
crayons de couleur ici et là.
This second card is made of a frame stamped in
purple, whose center is cut, as well as the outline. It will be glued raised to
the central carton. This one is stamped several times in very pale mauve, with
a pattern matching that of the frame. The “Joyeux Noël” is then stamped in
purple, off center right. It is recommended to stamp the text through the
opening of the frame, to be sure it is well positioned. Three poinsettias are
stamped in purple and green, cut and added to the layout. Everything is
enhanced with markers and colored pencils here and there.
