Welcome back to Super Saturday. I hope your New Year is off to a great start. I need to make several birthday cards, so I decided to use the Flower Mandala Background stamp as the focal point for my cards.
Bienvenue à Super samedi. J'espère que votre nouvelle année démarre bien. Je dois faire plusieurs cartes d'anniversaire, j'ai donc décidé d'utiliser l'étampe "Flower Mandala Background"comme point focal pour mes cartes.
Using my MISTI I stamped the image on the smooth side of
watercolor paper, then embossed with gold or silver embossing powder. I taped the paper to my work surface then I
sprinkled nuance over the top. I sprayed
with water and then let it sit until dry.
(I used Bright Yellow, Orange and Red on one piece; Aquamarine, Lagoon
and Violet on another piece.)
For the Nuance piece I cut the mandala into 1 7/8” strips
and I cut a 2 1/8” wide piece of pearlized purple background paper. I placed that on a piece of 3 ¾” x 5” piece
of white cardstock to determine where to stamp my sentiment. I stamped the sentiment, then embossed with silver
embossing powder. I used a blending
brush to add a bit of Tumbled Glass and Wilted Violet Distress ink. I adhered the Mandala strip to the piece of
background paper, then adhered them to the left side of the white
cardstock. This piece was adhered to
another piece of pearlized purple paper then to the front of an A2 card. I finished it off with a few gems.
À l'aide de mon MISTI, j'ai étampé l'image sur le côté lisse du papier aquarelle, puis embossé avec de la poudre à embosser or ou argent. J'ai collé le papier sur ma surface de travail, puis j'ai saupoudré de nuances sur le dessus. J'ai pulvérisé avec de l'eau, puis je l'ai laissé reposer jusqu'à ce qu'il soit sec. (J'ai utilisé du jaune vif, de l'orange et du rouge sur une pièce; aigue-marine, lagon et violet sur une autre pièce.)
Pour la pièce avec un fond de poudres Nuance, j'ai coupé le mandala en bandes de 1 7/8 ”et j'ai coupé un morceau de papier de fond violet nacré de 2 1/8” de large. Je l'ai placé sur un morceau de papier cartonné blanc de 3 ¾ "x 5" pour déterminer où étamper mon texte. J'ai étampé celui-ci puis embossé avec de la poudre à embosser argentée. J'ai utilisé un pinceau mélangeur pour ajouter un peu d'encre Distress "Tumbled Glass" et "Wilted Violet". J'ai collé la bande Mandala sur le morceau de papier de fond, puis je les ai collés sur le côté gauche du papier cartonné blanc. Cette pièce a été collée sur un autre morceau de papier violet nacré puis sur le devant d'une carte A2. Je l'ai terminé avec quelques embellissements.
I also stamped the image on several different pieces of
cardstock – white, tan, gray and blue. I
colored the images with Prismacolor pencils.
I returned the cardstock to my MISTI and re-stamped the image with
VersaMark ink and embossed with gold or silver embossing powder, depending on
the color of the cardstock.

J'ai également étampé l'image sur plusieurs morceaux de papier cartonné - blanc, beige, gris et bleu. J'ai coloré les images avec des crayons Prismacolor. J'ai retourné le papier cartonné à mon MISTI et re-étampé l'image avec de l'encre VersaMark et en relief avec de la poudre à embosser or ou argent, selon la couleur du papier cartonné.
