Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi Everyone, I've been creating some marbled backgrounds and decided to use one for this card.
My background was made using a Suminagachi marbling kit which allows you to float inks on water. I have made two very different cards one you see today, the other will be on my next post.
Once I created my background I stamped the cone flowers and extended the stems to the edge of the paper. I used pencil to colour them and then used white (hero arts) ink to stamp the script. I used Paper Artsy grunge paste with the leaf stencil around the flowers and once the leaves were dry I lightly watercoloured them. I used a pencil to define the veins of the leaves.

This is a close up of the flowers and leaves.

Love the way you used your marbled background with the cone flowers stamp. The stenciled leaves add lots of texture, and the script stamping adds visual interest. A great card!
