Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi Everyone, it's Christine here with a watercolour card using a stamp to create a background.
I stamped the flowers randomly over the watercolour paper and used Shadow Black watercolours which all have a little black in the pigment in each of the colours giving earthy tones.
I die cut the centre of the panel and popped it up using a thin foam.

Here's a close up of the flowers and the sentiment. For the sentiment I watercoloured a piece of card stamped the sentiment, centred it under the stencil and used a fine tip pen to outline the shape then fussy cut the shape. I used the edge of a black brush tip pen to remove the white edge.

I really like how you've made a background stamp into an inviting overall card design with your die-cutting, as well as the soft colors you've used.

TFS the name of the shadow effect watercolors, Christine. I LOVED the effect. Such a beautiful earthy tone for your beautiful sunflowers. Your design with the center die cut and popped up is so beautiful. TFS my friend. Hugs..Nancy

I love the way you have cut out the centre of the card and popped it up for added dimension Christine, and love the more subdued, but nevertheless really pretty colours for the beautiful daisies. x

This is very pretty. I love using the stamp to create the background and the soft colors and the out line really makes them pop. A very cool design with the raised center.
