Hello Magenta Friends! Cassandra here today with some spring seasonal celebrating.
To create this card, I black heat emboss stamped the Flower stamp multiple times on a coffee filter, water coloured them with Aquamarine Nuance powder, and fussy cut them once dry. For a more in depth step-by-step instructions on how to make emboss resist stamped coffee filter flowers, see my previous tutorial post here.
The leaves were created with an Inktense Felt Green watercolour pencil tracing them through the Small Holly stencil and then activating the watercolour with a waterbrush for the first colour layer on a cold press watercolour paper panel. Once dry, I went back in with several different green watercolours and then finished them by splattering some of the green around the leaves. Once the panel was dry, I adhered it to the front of a cardbase and then adhered the coffee filter flowers in place.
For the Thinking of You sentiment, I stamped it with a stamp positioning tool so that I could align the sentiment in a single line using VersaMark ink on a strip of black cardstock. After heat embossing it with white emboss powder, I trimmed the strip to size and adhered it to the front of the card with foam tape to add dimension. Lastly, I added some iridescent glitter glue to the centres of each flower.
