Hello, I’m Loll from Stamping with Loll and I’m so happy to be sharing my work on the Magenta Stamps blog. Thank you Helene!
The small daisy image is stamped several times onto the background with Antique Linen distress ink. It makes for a subtle but interesting background.
The daisy was stamped twice more in Brushed Corduroy ink (a bit darker) and heat embossed first in clear, then in UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel), which gives lots of shine. Both daisies are watercoloured with distress inks and fussy-cut. The petals of the top daisy only, are cut down to just about the center of the flower. This makes it easier to shape with a stylus and mat. The two layers are adhered together with glue (just in the center).
The sentiment is stamped in Ancient Amber Baked Texture embossing powder onto black card stock and trimmed to size.
