Les Trésors du Mercredi avec Carole / Wednesday's Treasure with Carole

Sur une grande pièce de papier aquarelle 6X9, j'ai utilisé les marqueurs aquarelle Tombow pour colorer mon papier. La couleur a été d'abord été mis sur mon grand bloc acrylique, j'ai vaporisé le tout d'eau. Le papier a été vaporisé d'eau légèrement aussi avant de le placer sur la couleur du bloc acrylique. J'ai retourné le bloc avec le papier collé dessus pour voir la saturation de la couleur. Le papier est resté sous le bloc pendant toute la période du séchage, ainsi la couleur a pénétré dans le papier et elle est restée aux endroits voulus sans trop se mélanger entre-elles. Une fois la surface du papier bien sèche le bloc a été retiré et la pièce de papier coupée en deux. J'ai utilisé la fauvette charmante étampée et embossée en sujet principal et des sections de cette même étampe ont été utilisées aux contours pour entourer la première impression. La mise en couleur a été effectuée avec les pastels Neocolor en combinaison avec les marqueurs Tombow. J'ai décoloré les grosse lettres de la citation avec de l'eau de javel pour y appliquer la couleur rose.

I used Tombow markers to add color to a large piece of 6X9 watercolor paper. The color was first put on a large acrylic block, and sprayed with water. The paper was also sprayed with water lightly before placing it onto the color on the acrylic block. I flipped the block over with the paper adhered to it to see the level of color saturation. The paper stayed under the block for the entire drying period, so the color penetrated into the paper, and all the colors remained in place without mixing too much with each other. Once the surface of the paper was completely dry, the block was removed and the piece of paper cut in half. I stamped and embossed the Spring Warbler stamp as the main subject, and sections of this same stamp were used around the edges to surround the first stamping. Color was added with Neocolor pastels in combination with Tombow markers. I removed color from the large letters of the quote with bleach to then apply the pink color.
