Hello Magenta Friends! Cassandra here with part two of my circular gelli print silhouette cards. In my last month's post (found here), I shared a warm colour pair. Today, I am sharing a pair of cool colour gelli print silhouette cards.
mixed with water and brushed onto a round 4" gelli plate. I added 2 drops of clear gesso and rolled it out before taking a print pull on a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" white cardstock cardbase. I deepened the colour by increasing the powder-to-water ratio which you can see on the card below.
Prior to pulling the gelli print, I stamped the Foliage stamp twice on the gelli plate. Once it was dry, I used a white gel pen to outline the leaves. Next, I stamped the Foliage stamp with Black Soot Archival ink. Then, I inked up the birds on the Birdsong Duet - Branches with Black Soot Archival ink multiple times using a stamp repositioning tool. Then, I stamped the Thinking of You sentiment with the archival ink and clear heat embossed it. To complete this card, I used a black pen to doodle faux stitched circles around the edge of the gelli print.
On the next card, I stamped with the Curved Branch leaves in two orientations, again with the use of a stamp positioning tool. Then, I stamped and clear heat embossed the Sending Hugs sentiment. Next, I heat emboss stamped the Butterfly onto vellum, watercoloured it with the Cerulean Blue and Grass Green Nuance powder prior to fussy cutting it and adhered it over the leaves.

Cassandra, so pretty. I love the circular frame :)
Thanks a bunch Christine! That gelli circle plate is pretty addictive and made for many circular prints. :)
