Inspirational Friday with Mariëtte / L'inspiration du vendredi avec Mariëtte

Donc je suis libre de le partager sur le blog de Magenta.

On a A5 size of brown cardstock I glued down randomly some torned pieces of book and dictionary pages.  I also glued down left overs from self stamped tissue paper. I covered this with a thin layer of gesso, to tone down the colours and to have my background prepared for the next layers. 

Sur un papier cartonné brun au format A5, j'ai collé au hasard des morceaux déchirés de pages de livre et de dictionnaire. J'ai également collé des restes de papier de soie pré-étampé. Je l'ai recouvert d'une fine couche de gesso, pour atténuer les couleurs et préparer mon arrière-plan pour les couches suivantes.

Using a palette knife I added light modelling paste thru the Magenta mandala mask. Once dry I started to spray the distress oxide colours onto the background and spritz it with water to let the colours mix and spread over the whole piece and let it dry. Added some extra colour accents with NEO color II pastels. 

With a mixed media brush and distress ink hickory smoke I blended the ink thru the Magenta zen stencil. On a separate piece of white cardstock stamped the butterflies and coloured them with distress inks and fussy cut them out. Stamped the postcard text randomly onto the background with Versafine onyx black. Adhered some twine around the cardstock and glued the butterflies on top of it. Added some text labels and went around the edges with distress ink hickory smoke to give the panel more depth. Added some white and black splashes with gel pens.

À l'aide d'un couteau à palette, j'ai ajouté de la pâte de modelage légère à travers le masque de mandala magenta. Une fois sec, j'ai commencé à pulvériser les couleurs Distress Oxide sur le fond et à vaporiser avec de l'eau pour laisser les couleurs se mélanger et s'étaler sur toute la pièce et laisser sécher. Ajout de quelques accents de couleur supplémentaires avec les pastels NEO color II.

 Avec un pinceau mixte et de l'encre Distress "Hickory Smoke", j'ai mélangé l'encre à travers le pochoir Magenta zen. Sur un autre morceau de papier cartonné blanc, j'ai étampé les papillons et coloré avec des encres de Distress et découpé délicatement. J'ai étampé le texte de la carte postale au hasard sur l'arrière-plan avec du Versafine onyx noir. J'ai collé de la ficelle autour du papier cartonné et collé les papillons dessus. Ajout de quelques étiquettes de texte et contour des bords avec de l'encre Distress "Hickory Smoke" pour donner plus de profondeur au panneau. Ajout de quelques éclaboussures blanches et noires avec des stylos gel.
