Hi Everyone, it's Christine here with another gelli print background from my stash.
This one is a large stencil placed on the gelli plate and sprayed with Diana Wakley gloss sprays.
I stamped the Cherry Blossom Chickadee and Thinking of you stamps in black Versafine Claire and used clear embossing powder.
I
wanted to show you that you don't always need to colour images in. I
love the gelli print showing through the flowers and bird in the first
card. I then decided to use some Posca Acrylic paints to colour the
image.
Let me know which one you prefer 😏

Beautiful cards. My preference is the colored one as it stands out more from the background
That is a stunning background, Christine. Even when you colored the image you can still see the background. I like them both.
Gorgeous background!! I have to say that I prefer the image coloured in - it makes it stand out a bit more (and it's such a lovely image that it deserves to stand out).
Love this chickadee stamp with this background! I like it colored in an just the outline!
I like the colored in 2nd card best, but if I had seen only your 1st beauty I would have thought it was perfect too:-) TFS both styles, my friend. Love and Hugs..Nancy
Awesome gelli print Christine. The image and sentiment look amazing over top. I like both versions!
Beautiful designed creation, amazing colours too..♥
Another beautiful gelli print background. Both cards are beautiful, but I think I prefer the coloured in one.
Both cards are fabulous. Great backgrounds and great image and I love them both x.
Both are fabulous, Christine! If I have to choose, I'll give my vote to the second one. I think that the colored chickadee and the cherry blossoms draw more attention.
