Inspirational Friday with Mariëtte / L'inspiration du vendredi avec Mariëtte

Today I have a birthday card with the little wren.

The texture on the background is created with an embossing folder, which I than colored with distress oxides and added highlights with a gold wax.



Added some strokes of washi tape to give the bird some "ground". Also stamped the words to live by stamp randomly in the background
The wren is stamped on a separate piece of water color paper and colored in with distress inks, than fussy cut out and glued onto the background.

I really like how this card turned out.
