I needed a birthday card for a man and as it's autumn and his house is situated in the middle of a forest I came up with this lay-out.

Lovely autumn colors and falling leaves. The background texture is done with a 3D embossing folder, colored with distress oxide sprays and randomly stamped the fall text on it
The leaves are stamped with several colors of archival inks and covered with a thick layer of clear embossing powder. The leaves are adhered to a panel stamped with the wood structure stamp

I used those handy clips for holding the leaves when heating the embossing powder. I received them as a gift from a student during my workshops in Olympia, Washington at Art'n Soul. Such a clever idea and I use them often.
I love how the colors of the leaves pops when heat embossed.
