First, I used the Laces stencil and ran it through my Big Shot machine with cardstock to emboss the stencil pattern. Next, I used a sponge applicator and added Spiced Marmalade Distress ink to the patterned embossed surface. Then, I splattered tiny droplets onto it and let it do its magic. Once dry, I edged it with Black Soot Archival ink and then set it aside to dry thoroughly. While that was happening, I used the Cat stencil and an emboss ink applicator and heat embossed it with a mix of black emboss powder and black glitter onto a scrap piece of thick cardstock. I fuzzy cut the cat out after it was heat set. Next, I black heat emboss stamped the Hello sentiment onto vellum and then fussy cut that out too. Then, I wrapped black baker's twine around the distress inked cardstock and tied a bow. I used cereal board on the back of the cardstock to secure it to a cardbase and to not be impeded by the twine. I popped the cat up with small pieces of leftover cereal board as I adhered it on so it would sit nicely above the twine. Lastly, after gluing on the hello sentiment, I added small jewels to complete the card.
