Hi Everyone, it's Christine here with a another Christmas card for you, this time a little CAS (Clean And Simple) in a postage stamp style.
For the background I mixed Distress ink and Perfect Pearls spritzed with water on my Kraft mat and picked up the ink on my card by moving it in the inky puddles.
I then mixed Distress inks and Perfect Pearls to paint the Cardinal and the branch. The Pearls add a little shimmer to your inks which is a great way to create a pearlized version of your inks an paints. I used little die cut numbers and letters to create the cost of the stamp
I hope this inspires you to start your Christmas cards.

A handsome cardinal. Love the shimmer. Now wouldn’t it be nice if stamps were 5 cents!
Just stunning Christine! Vicky x

Beautifully painted cardinal! Love the mix with the pearlized paints. Great design with the postage stamp. I agree - I sure wish postage cost less.
