Time for a birthday card for a Dutch friend, using one of my favorite techniques, masked Distress blending.

To make this card, I blended Distress Ink onto my panel and flicked it with a little water. Once the panel was dry, I masked off a 1/2" strip and stamped and embossed my two images with Distress Ink and gold embossing powder. I stamped the Birthday sentiment in the masked off area.

The sentiment is from the Multilingual Happy Birthday stamp. I have two of these stamps, and have cut one of them apart so that I can use the different sentiments separately.
