Treats on Tuesday with Christine -- La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi Everyone, it's Christine here with an accordion Christmas card. You may have noticed I'm on a roll with my Christmas cards, I still have a few more to do but getting there. I hope this inspires you to get the last of your cards done 😏

I took a piece of black card stock 5.5" X 17" and scored every 4.25", you can also use 8.5" wide card stock.  I used tape to stick the centre fold creating a small book.

For the front of the card I sprayed the background with  spring green Nuance powder mixed with water, once dry I stamped the holly ornament in Versafine Claire and heat embossed with clear Embossing powder. I water coloured the image, and used a white gel pen for highlights. Then gave it some sparkle with Wink of Stella then stamped the sentiment stamp over the background.

I masked the image and used texture paste through the hanging ornament stencil, then sprinkled Tim Holtz Embossing glaze over the texture paste and melted with a heat gun.

 

  

the next page has a white heat embossed image which has been coloured with Posca Acrylic pens, I used a Wink of Stella pen to add some sparkle to the ornaments.

For the back two pages I did a little stamping and stenciling. The Noel/bird stamp has a little glossy accents on the berries.

 

This card costs a little more to mail but is fun to make for someone special.
