On watercolor paper I sprayed the new colors of distress oxide sprays called crackling campfire and rustic wilderness and misted it with some water. I placed on top of the wet ink another piece of watercolor paper and pulled up an extra print. This softens the colors a lot and I have an extra colored background for another card.

When the ink is dry I started to buld up the background with several stamps and stencils. The butterflies are stamped on a seperate piece of watercolor paper, colored with distress inks and gave them a little shimmer with a wink of stella pen. I fussy cut them out and added them on the card.
Finishing off the card with a black sponged border and some wihite highlights in the background with a white gel pen.
