Treats on Tuesay with Christine - - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi it's Christine here with a little pencil colouring on this beautiful flower image.

My first card the image is stamped on white card stock.
I stamped the image using a stamp positioner, coloured the image with pencils then re-stamped with Ranger archival black to add the detail again. I also used pencil to add shadowing around the flower and leaves. I used the script stamp to fill in a little of the white space.

My second card is the same stamp again coloured with pencils but this time on black card stock.

Beautiful cards Christine. I especially love the one on black cardstock and the way you added the script in the background.

This gorgeous flower spray looks amazing on both white and black backgrounds. Love your colouring skills with pencil, the colours you've used and the added interest with the text in the background. Two gorgeous cards Christine!

Love both versions! The one on white is so soft and feminine. The one on black is very dramatic and artsy.

Both different and both wonderful. I love the delicacy of the stamped flower on both of them x.

What a pretty flowering vine! Love the soft look of it on white and the dramatic effect on black!

You’ve coloured these flowers beautifully. Great contrasting looks on the b / w backgrounds. The stamped script is a nice touch.

both cards are very sweet and stand out because of your mix of colors and backgrounds. I'm so glad you featured this new stamp that I will have to order. I'm having a difficult time keeping track of the new releases from Magenta.

How different this stamp looks by changing the backgrounds. Both are so pretty and I like the addition of script for interest.

Both flowers are colored so beautifully, Christine! The added shadows are effective, and the color of the background makes all the difference!
