Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi Everyone, it's Christine here with another example of Ink blending and heat embossing with clear embossing powder  (Joseph's coat) but this time using a stencil rather than a solid stamp.

I created a blended background using distress inks, I also added the script stamp for interest.
I then used a small blending dauber to add Versamark ink over the stencil, heat embossing with clear embossing powder. I blended black distress ink over the whole image and wipe the ink off the embossed area so the base colours brighten up.
To finish off the card I stamped the three flowers using a mask, coloured them with pencils and a yellow Posca acrylic paint pen and then fussy cut them and attached them to the card.

Tip 1-The small daubers adds just enough Versamark ink without flooding and seeping under the stencil.
Tip 2- Remember to heat dry your blended background and use and embossing buddy before you use your Versamark and clear embossing powder, the blended ink can stay damp for a while and will pick up the powder.

A close up of the script and the heat embossed background.
