Hi Everyone it's Christine here with some of new Christmas stamps, I hope you don't mind but there'll be a Christmas theme from me over the next few Tuesdays as I play with these beautiful stamps.
I used a direct to stamp water colouring technique using Tombow markers. I put the Poinsettia stamp in my MISTI and used my Tombow markers to add colour to the stamp. I misted with water each time I pressed the stamp against the water colour card stock. I used a rough Watercolour card so it takes a few impressions to get the full image. I then used a water colour brush and a little water to pull out the colour. Once I was happy with the image I when back to the stamp and used the my Tombow markers to add the detail back in.
I'm a huge fan of script stamps as you've probably noticed so it's great to have this one for Christmas. I inked the "Have yourself a very merry Christmas" with Ranger Distress inks and wiped some areas away before misting with water and then stamping. I didn't want to cover up the Poinsettia with a sentiment so I left the background be the Christmas wishes.

Fabulous water colour/stamp technique and what a stunner of a card Christine x.
This is beautiful. I love that background stamp with the song.
Your card is beautiful Christine. I can't wait to use these stamps.
Beautifully inked, spritz and stamped. The script was a nice touch.
Love that new Christmas script stamp - so glad you've pointed it out. Beautiful poinsettia too (and lovely colouring of it).
