Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi Everyone, it's Christine here with an Emboss Resist background and some sprinkles of Nuance powders.

I stamped the Christmas sentiment background in Versamark and heat embossed in white, then sprinkled a mix of Anthracite and Lagoon Nuance powders over the background and then spritzed with water. 

When it was dry I use an antistatic powder and stamped the holly in Versafine Clair Nocturn and heat embossed in clear embossing powder. I stamped it again on Watercolour paper, coloured it, fussy cut the leaves and paper pieced the leaves onto the card and used a Red Pearl Pen for the berries.

The image is mounted on silver card and then on a white base.

Here's a close up of the script and the holly. 

I love the way powdered watercolours show you what a colour is made up of. You cans see the red and yelow speck in the background even though I used blue and gray/black.
