Hi Everyone, I know I just posted cards with these stamps but couldn't resist using them again with a brayered and bleached background.
I used a coated cardstock and brayered distress inks along the top and the bottom of the card. There are a few brayering tutorials out there, I used Michelle Zindorf's tutorial. Brayering works best with very smooth cardstock, I used a matt coated card.
Once I brayered the card I dried it with a heat gun and stamped the bird image in Versafine Clair Nocturn and heat embossed in clear embossing powder. I water coloured the image using Zigs and Tombow Markers.
I then stamped the leaves using bleach. To pick up the bleach I poured a small amount on kitchen roll and used it as a stamp pad then stamped the image on the card. As it dried the bleach removed the colour.
