Hi Everyone, I'm still having fun with the new Christmas stamps.
Today I used the new Christmas tree and Sentiment. I heat embossed the tree in Versafine Clair Nocturn and clear embossing powder, water coloured the foliage in different greens and the baubles in gold. I used the sentiment stamp as a background inking it up and stamping off the first ink on scrap paper and used the second generation stamp to give a distressed look. I stenciled the diamonds in Distress ink and tore the edge of the Watercolour paper to fit the card. I rubbed the edge of the water colour card over the ink pad to highlight the torn edges.

Your card is beautiful Christine. I love the vintage look - isn't this a great stamp?
I love that Christmas tree stamp - and you've coloured it beautifully with the variety of greens for the leaves. The sentiment stamp works really well as a background stamp, along with the subtle stencilling.
Love this Christmas tree with all the pretty baubles! Awesome sentiment that works beautifully in the background with the stenciling!
Such a vintage styled and fabulous Christmas card with the added fun of those Christmas baubles x. Love the way you did the background too x.
