As you may know I love butterflies and luckily Magenta has a lot of butterfly stamps in their collection.
Added distress oxide inks on a craft sheet and gave it a spritz of water and tapped the water color paper into it. Dried it between every layer of color. Stamped the large butterfly with versamark ink and heat set it with black embossing powder.
Masked off the buttterfly and with a stencil added some extra dimension in the background. Added some tiny text in the whole background and in the middle part of the card repeated randomly the happy birthday text
Finally I removed the mask and uncolored the butterfly with bleach. And once dry I gave it a little bit of color with blue water color pearl paint.
