Hi Everyone it's Christine here with a wintery card using the black bird and berry stamp
I used a piece of Archers hot press watercolour paper taken from a large sheet, the large sheets have a rough edge which looks torn.
When I created last weeks card I flooded the paper with colour from the nuance powder mixed with water sprayed on the watercolour paper and took a print with the Archers paper.
I knew I wanted to take the print so had the paper ready and waiting. The colour came out a little softer and more sky like so I thought the bird and branches would work perfectly.
I used a direct to stamp technique using Tombow markers on the bird and branch and used Distress inks for other branch, I spritzed with water before stamping, .
Once I was happy with the colour I dried it using a heat gun.
I used a pencil to add some definition to the bird and and added some sparkle with a silver gel pen on the berries and the bird
