Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi Everyone, I hope you are all almost ready for Christmas and all those cards are in the mail 😅. My card for you today isn't a Christmas card but would make a fun Birthday or Just Because card. The background is a piece of card which has been run through a wood grain embossing folder and swiped with ink so the colour is picked up by the raised surface.

I stamped Christophe the cat on the embossed surface and then stamped him again on watercolour card,  watercoloured him and then fussy cut him out. By stamping him on the background first I didn't have to worry about his tail and whiskers. Before I attached the cat to the base I stamped and stenciled the background.
